Assistant Manager of The Aubrey

An exciting new collaborative venture between Maximal Concepts and Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong - The Aubrey, an eccentric Japanese Izakaya on the hotel’s 25th floor of Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong in January 2021.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a smooth daily operation and support in administration
  • Understand guests’ needs and deliver excellent service and professional recommendation via effective communication
  • Deliver a delighted bar and dining experience to our guests
  • Handle guest complaints and comments during the absence of the managers
  • Provides professional development to colleagues and leading the team to achieve departmental goal and total guests' satisfaction
  • Follow and apply the HACCP and hygiene standards at all times
  • Liaise with kitchen team on a daily basis
  • Assist Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Restaurant General Manager in other ad hoc projects as assigned.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' working experience in Upscale Dining restaurant at similar capacity, Michelin-starred restaurant experience preferred
  • Good managerial and interpersonal skills
  • Passion in customer service and hospitality industry
  • Willing to learn and able to work under pressure
  • International exposure will be an advantage
  • Superior written and oral communications skills in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus.
