Position: Chef de Rang In Room Dining (Full time #534333 )

Location: Lake Como, Italy
Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up tables or tray according to the order accurately in timely manner up to our standards as per side work description
Deliver in room dining order to the guests in a timely manner, within the quoted time
Prepare amenities for Guests
Assist Guest courteously and efficiently, providing service for any guest’s request
Extensive knowledge of food and beverage in order to assist guests with suggestions and up sell our product, including liquors and cocktails.
Pick up the table after the use by the guests or as per guest’s request.
Do all the side works and preparations of the equipments for the continuation of the operation
Make sure that all silver and glasses are polished and spotless
Check accuracy of order before delivering – be sure it is complete.
Make sure that all product served are accounted for on the final bill before presenting it.
Verify guest satisfaction before leaving the room
Anticipate guest needs, as to where guests will never have to ask for anything
At the end of the shift deliver all checks and report to the appropriate place according to rules
Setting and maintaining the in-room dining environment and material perfectly clean as per side work description.
Following the posted opening and closing duties and side work sheet
Attend daily pre meal/communication meeting
Attend monthly department meeting
Upholding of MOHG and HACCP standards
Job requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in the In Room Dining department, at least 1 in the position of Chef de Rang IRD.
Previous experience in a similar luxury environment
Warm and friendly service attitude to our exclusive guests
Attention to detail and a high degree of autonomy
Fluent in Italian and English written and spoken
