Communications & Content Creation Officer

Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is the group's flagship hotel, and an icon in its own right. 

Responsibilities

  • Joint promotions with third parties: has close contacts with chambers of commerce, consulates and social groups. Identifies and manages joint marketing opportunities, where appropriate.
  • Initiates and manages social media activities such as facebook, twitter etc.
  • Database Management: oversees Respak database management (de-duping, updating and removing contacts);
  • liaises with other departments to receive updated databases (eg: Delphi, spasoft etc) as required. Liaises with corporate office for access to databases they hold (eg: global Delphi).
  • Website update: update of the hotel’s website, and maintenance of online news stories. 
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Department Head.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 years years’ relevant experience, preferably in luxury hotel or similar environment.
  • Degree holder or above in Hotel Management, Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Digital Marketing.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua).
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Well organized, detail-minded, positive and self-motivated.
