ホテルの プロモーション、広告、デジタル・ソーシャルメディア、メディア/インフルエンサーリレーション、ホテル/コミュニティイベントなど、お客さまとのあらゆる接点における活動に対する責務を担って頂きます。

Scope of Position

  • Position the hotel reputation as the top luxury hotel in Japan.
  • Lead and oversee the development and implementation of the integrated marketing and communication plan for the hotel.
  • Be responsible for all integrated marketing and communication activities across all guest touchpoints including promotion activities, advertising, digital, social media, media/influencer relations, and hotel/community events.
  • Work cross functionally to ensure integrated marketing and communication execution as well as to develop relationships locally and with MOHG.
  • Maintain a through ongoing knowledge of the market and competitive environment.
  • Determine how to proactively and efficiently attract both potential and existing guests as the business evolves.
  • Build a high-performing, resilient, and optimally leveraged marketing and communication structure and team.
  • Select, appoint, and manage outside agencies, photographer, videographer, or production company as necessary and appropriately.

 

Duties and Supporting Responsibilities

Brand Marketing

  • Identify, bring in and manage external collaborators, explore, and initiate new and unique collaborations to stay ahead of market.
  • Design and coordinate promotional campaigns, marketing, and communication efforts across owned marketing channels (digital and media etc).
  • Reassure the brand positioning, value proposition and messaging strategy across all channels to drive market awareness, guests’ acquisition, and loyalty.
  • Play a key role in community relations.

Direct Marketing (Liaise with Director of Revenue and Reservations to support revenue strategy)

-          Develop an overall direct marketing plan in order to make frequent contact with hotel guests through direct marketing activities; e-direct mail and social media channels.

-          Liaise with relevant luxury partners on appropriate direct marketing initiatives.

-          Support hotel’s other departments to establish and expand the hotel’s database.

-          Maintain quality of property website (MO.com and Wedding microsite). Primarily, ensure accuracy and high standard of existing content, and research & strategize ideas for new content (guest services, news, offers, etc) by closely working with MOHG.

-          Conduct benchmark research on other hotels’ online tools and activities (research and analyze industry best practices and initiatives).

-          Research travel-related sites to identify opportunities to enhance online presence.

Social Media

  • Analyze and plan effective social media contents and campaigns to achieve hotel’s annual goal.
  • Increase social media followers by creating attractive contents and increase engagement to maintain existing followers.

-          Find business partners to create collaborative social media campaigns.

Visual Assets/ Collateral Production

  • Plan, organize and oversee all photography/videography sessions for the hotel.
  • Manage all hotel’s official photos and videos and share internally as appropriately and necessary.
  • Oversee production of CID collateral and development of new promotional materials including design direction, as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to MOHG CID guidelines for all promotional material and advertising.

Communications

  • Drive and implement a proactive media/influencer strategy for the hotel.
  • Lead the development of press releases, message maps and talking points.
  • In partnership with other department heads, identify the key opportunities for the hotel and develop proactive PR plan.
  • Identify appropriate media stories and opportunities locally and internationally.
  • Create and organize local media event and international media familiarization trip, as necessary.
  • Manage issues and crisis situations in close partnership with General Manager and MOHG.
  • Acts as official spokesperson for the hotel when appropriate and responds to all media inquires in all crisis situations.

General Duties 

  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the management from time to time 
  • Guide the team on their streams of work, solve problems, and help make decisions arising from day-to-day marketing and communication efforts.
  • Execute bi-weekly marketing meeting to share result of marketing and communication activities and future activities.

Qualification

  • Experience in the similar marketing position in the luxury segment, hotel industry experience is preferred.
  • Native Japanese skill and business level of English
