It is the mission and intent of this position that the incumbent support directing the creativity and delivery of the highest level of catered event and meeting experience to all event stakeholders and participants.  Work closely with food and beverage in order to passionately support positioning the hotel’s event facilities and catering services on the highest quality tier.  Support the efforts to ensure the catering and event sales team exceed revenue goals for all contracted guestroom and suite commitments, catered events, and meetings market segments.  At all times the incumbent will ensure comprehensive servicing for all clients and act as a liaison between customers and operational departments.   

The Conferences Services Manager will service and support the conference team’s event sales in tandem with handling an individual sales goal and assist in leading the department to achieve the food, beverage, audio visual, room rental, and miscellaneous revenue goals as laid out in the hotel Marketing Plan.  The incumbent will also be responsible for the follow-through of catering and event and the solicitation for new business.  

The Conference Services Manager reports directly to the Director of Catering.
