Position: Banquet Operations Assistant Manager (Full time #528259 )
Property / Office: Mandarin Oriental, Singapore
Location: Singapore
Summary of Responsibilities
Conduct outlet briefings
Ensure that outlet logbooks are up to date
Review and communicate BEO’s
Oversee staffing levels
Create and maintain strong client relationships
Oversee and ensure that all functions and meetings are set up properly and timely
Train for service standards, customer service, and quality presentation
Work closely with the culinary and events management team
Ensure that all MOHG standards are constantly monitored
Establish and maintain a monthly training plan according to the standards required
Develop the team through coaching, mentoring and constant formal interactions at specific yet periodic intervals
Ensure guest needs and expectations are met by providing an efficient and professional service
Guide the operations to ensure that guest satisfaction is monitored and where appropriate, rectified
Any adhoc requests required by the Director of Banquets Operations
Job Requirements
Able to do shift work and work on weekends (5 day work week)
Service-oriented team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast pace environment
