Responsibilities
It is part of your role to understand and comply with all corporate and hotel policies and standard operating procedures.
MOHG Code of Conduct requires that all business activities and business decisions comply with the general law, with all rules, regulations, and other requirements.
It is part of your role and your responsibility to fully support all learning and development activities.
You shall take all reasonable steps to safeguard stored information, and not divulge or otherwise transfer any personal data concerning the guests, customers or colleagues, or any confidential information concerning the hotel unless with the appropriate authority.
Use of the hotel’s network, computers or internet access which is in the hotel’s view unreasonable or inappropriate, for example gambling, chatroom, or pornographic material, is a serious breach of hotel policy and grounds for summary dismissal.
Support and adhere to all policies & procedures relating to Safe, Sound and Sustainable at Mandarin Oriental.
Ensure compliance with the MOHG Social Media Policy, i.e. to be fully responsible for the content you publish on any social media platform, including your personal site.

To carry out any additional duties requested by management, related to hotel operational activities.
Ensure that all public toilets are well maintained and cleaned regularly during the day
Replenish all amenities and handtowels if used
Upkeep cleanliness of sink areas, mirrors and toilets
Report any maintenance issues to the engineering team immediately
Help guests with directions or any other requests
Make sure to regularly wet/dry mop the floors
Remove any finger marks, smears etc., from shiny surfaces in order to upkeep a luxurious appearance of the hotel
Ensure to place appropriate signage for the areas you are cleaning in order to avoid any accidents
Report any suspicious persons in the hotel directly to the public area supervisor or Security service
Ensure the cleanliness of all public area corridors, lobby areas, reception, restaurants, etc.
Organise your cleaning supplies and equipment and make sure that it is placed in areas not directly visible for the guests
Help and support any other area, like rooms, back of house, etc., if necessary
Be customer focused and make sure that guest wishes are fulfilled accordingly
Handle guest complaints in a professional and polite manner
Take ownership of any guest complaints and communicate them to your supervisor
Follow all MOQA, LQE, LQA, Forbes & FLHSS&E standards at all times
Skills & Qualifications
Senior High School Diploma or equivalent.
Vocational Diploma in Hospitality related subject is an advantage.
Minimum 1 year experience working in a luxury hotel environment.
A minimum of 1 year Housekeeping experience in luxury hotels
Middle East experience is an advantage.
Prior experience with HotSOS is an advantage.
Clear communication; effective verbal and written communication skills in English is required.
Arabic speaker is an advantage.
Ability to plan and organize large projects.
Perform job with attention to details and the ability to organize and handle multiple tasks effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Professional appearance.
Physical capabilities to stand for a long period of time.
Flexibility to work overnight as required.
