We are recruiting a Assistant Bar Manager

Main Responsibilities: 

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the MO Bar.
• Maintain a proper staffing and supplies level to ensure service standard is satisfactorily met.
• Ensure MO Bar service standards.
• Assist Manager with conducting daily communication meeting with staff prior to shift
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage to be able to service and up-sell the product
• Develop and update menus, as appropriate
• To visit all of our guest tables during or after their /drinkmeal, to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate all aspects of service to include but not limited to:
  • Food and beverage requirements
  • Timing of events
  • Special attention guests
  • Table setup
  • Special requests
  • Complimentary dessert/ drinks etc.
  • Billing instructions
  • Authorized signatures
• Assist Manager with the recruitment of new colleagues, training, and development.
• Assist Manager with the monthly departmental meeting.

Job Requirements:

• High School qualification or equivalent
• Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management is preferred
• A minimum of 2/3 years of experience as Assistant Bar Manager or Bar Supervisor
• French & English mandatory
• Standards driven and motivational leader
• The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for service, food, lots of flair and creativity
• You will have exceptional inter-personal, management and organizational skills.
• Must be of smart appearance with excellent personal hygiene standards
